Lamb burgers with Red Onion Tomato Relish & Smoked Onion Mayo

Lamb burgers have bags of flavour and pair nicely with our Red Onion Tomato Relish. The same recipe can be used with Turkey or Beef mince for alternative burgers. Swap out cheddar for Brie on the lamb and turkey burgers for something extra special.

1 kg lamb mince

1 slices white pan bread, crust removed

1 garlic cloves, finely chopped

1 handful flat leaf parsley, chopped

1 sprig rosemary, remove stalk & chop

1.5 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp cinnamon

1 egg

 

Instructions:

Soak bread in water for 2 minutes, squeeze excess water from bread mix with the garlic, herbs, spices and egg. Add the lamb mice and mix together with your hands until the bread mix is thoroughly combined with the mince. Separate into 6 equal sized balls and shape into burger patties. Cook on the BBQ or on a pan on medium-high heat, flipping every 2-3 mintues until the lamb is cooked through. Serve on a floury bap with Builin Blasta Red Onion Tomato Relish, Smoked Onion Mayo, brie and your favorite burger toppings.
